Dropbox: Cloud Files Storage App Reviews

I was in love with Dropbox when I stumbled across it about a year ago. I became a paying subscriber since it was so convenient to save all of the photos and videos I have of my daughter from my phone to my computer. For the last couple of months however, Dropbox havent been uploading any of my photos and videos since it claims that it cant find any photos. I thought maybe since I updated my phone that Dropbox no longer had access to my photo album but thats not the case. I would love for this issue to be fixed.

Photos will not automatically upload without timing out. I have to go into my phone settings and turn off the screen saver so that phone never goes to sleep as well as keep the app open itself in order to upload the photos. Ive searched around in the app settings and cannot find an override for this I think its ridiculous the dropbox hasnt figured out a workaround for this. Every other app will run in the background except this one. Pointless.

1) good grief, just put the change log in the update notes. My time is really more important than you think. I really dislike the trend of ambiguous update notes. Apple should ban that practice. 2) Still no sign of features from Carousel making its way to Dropbox. Foolish and a waste of talent. 3) STILL NO MULTITASKING -- do you not care about iOS?

Would like to see split-screen, slide-over, and picture in picture implemented

Would not export any of my files on to my phone, Ive tried multiple times and it hasnt worked. Please fix it! I would love to use this app if it would work properly!

As the title says.

As this is an essential app for me, Id give it a higher rating if it werent for the horrible Touch ID support. Sometimes it lets me unlock with Touch ID, sometimes it forces me to enter the passcode (= VERY impractical and annoying!). I am a paying Pro customer and contacted customer service, who basically told me that this problem "is not related to Dropbox", even though I clarified to them that this is the ONLY app of the ones I unlock with Touch ID that doesnt work properly (and I have this set up for quite a few apps!). No further response or follow up from customer service after that. Fail.

For some reason it will not let me download files and it says the users for the app has been used yet I was a able to download the app

I click on a link (in an app), the Dropbox page opens, I click on open in app, then it just asks me if I want to install the app (its already installed). Thats it. Wont open the file.

Love Dropbox, use it everyday. I save my files to Dropbox at work so I can work on them later at home.

Dropbox literally revolutionized my life. Its such a versatile app and has saved me a ton of space on my phone. The passcode lock and Touch ID are essential though I would prefer 2FA (hint, hint)! It integrates with an outrageous amount of apps, saves all my uncommon file formats. There are a lot of tips & tricks to the app if u do a bit of research and has many, many, more features than what is "featured!" Plus Im on a free plan (2gb) and Dropbox has allowed me to earn almost 4gb more! Youll never need to pay unless you make save to Dropbox your full time job

Love the way how it uploads but my video resolution is terrible.

i literally downloaded this app to listen to lemonade by Beyoncé and views by drake lol the app is good I guess but the albums r better

I absolutely loved Carousel and Dropbox when they were together because Carousel was very reliable with the automatic uploading and always did it very quickly too. After Carousel closed down; Dropbox automatic upload couldnt be worse I think. Very unreliable and slow when it actually starts to upload. HUGE thumbs down now. Paid for 1TB of space and cant even use it now.

Pleaaasee bring back carrousel! I hate this app, its way too slow and uploading stops for no reason!

I love using Dropbox to transfer my photos and videos throughout my devices. This app works pretty well, and looks pretty good on newer iOS systems. My only problem is how it uploads photos. I was in the middle of uploading photos and videos when I had to close out of Dropbox (upload in background was turned on), and my whole upload froze. Dropbox would not finish the upload process at all. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it to give it a fresh start but it started right where it left off and made things partially frustrating. That would be great if the developers could make a more "glitch-proof" photo and video uploading system.

What is new in this update?? I hate not knowing, why would I waste the bandwidth to download the update if I have no idea whats new?

This app has allowed me to keep my files all in one place and allowed my teachers to access it. It has been great for college

I use "open in" from DropBox weekly! I have done so for YEARS. As a graphic designer, recording artist, and mixing engineer, I NEED this app (and the DropBox service) on a daily basis! I couldnt be half as productive without it. Flawless operation - ZERO problems. Easy to use - almost effortless. Auto-upload of photos and videos is a great & useful addition. Customer support is second to none (when I did have a question, support answered it before two hours had passed).

Photo uploading doesnt work. Please bring back Carousel. I am a monthly subscriber. And am considering canceling my subscription.
